SCIENCE CAFE EVANSTON

EAT, DRINK, AND TALK SCIENCE WITH NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS AND OTHER SCIENTISTS!

The Science Cafe Evanston is held from September through November, and then again January through June of each academic year. Science Cafe events will be held at The Prairie Moon (1502 Sherman Ave., Evanston) from 6:15 - 7:30 pm, generally on the third WEDNESDAY of each month and are free and open to the public.  This cafe is focused on the adult-level audience, and the purpose is to make science more accessible and accountable by featuring speakers whose expertise spans the sciences and who can talk in plain English.

JUNIOR SCIENCE CAFE

We hold the Junior Science Cafe on a Saturday of each month at Boocoo (1823 Church St, Evanston - northeast corner across from Evanston Township HS) from 11 - 12:30 am.  A light lunch is offered.  These events are open to middle and high school students and their parents.  NO CHARGE.
